The Ocean Runner pumps are powerful universal pumps to be used as circulation or current pumps in both salt water and fresh water aquaria. The Ocean Runners are supplied with a rugged pump housing, an energy efficient motor, a polished ceramic shaft and ceramic bearings. All these qualities ensure a quiet and maintenance free performance for many years.

The Ocean Runner - PH series power heads are very compact high capacity pumps. Their diminutive size is achieved by using a special magnet compound, The pumps are small enough to not look out of place even inside the aquarium. They are manufactured to the same high standards as the rest of the OR series with polished ceramic shafts and energy efficient motors. The dimensions of all 3 pumps are (l x w x h): 15 x 14 x 8.5 cm (c. 6" x 5.5" x 3.3") length including the filter basket. Inlet and outlet connections for 19 mm (c. 3/4") hose.

The Niveaumat will automatically top up evaporated water in fresh and saltwater aquariums. It comprises an SP 3000 peristaltic pump with a directly compatced float switch. The float switch is installed in the aquarium or filter tank at the desired level using its holding unit. As the level drops the SP 3000 automatically tops up the tank with water from a reservoir (not supplied).

Adding a powerhead to an undergravel system increases water flow through a gravel substrate and improves its filtering efficiency. It also oxygenates water and, in the process, provides needed oxygen to colonies of beneficial bacteria in the gravel which optimizes their biological filtration capabilities.

Easily fitted to most undergravel systems. Powerhead comes equipped with a tapered riser stem adapter which accepts .5" to 1.125" tubing. Rim clamp firmly holds it in place atop the riser stem and an optional suction cup bracket which allows the unit to hang from an aquarium wall instead of the rim.
